The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a willingness to learn and grow within a structured restoration environment. Participation in an on-call rotation is required.Key Responsibilities:Perform water extraction, structural drying, mold remediation, and fire/smoke cleanupAssess damage conditions and identify appropriate mitigation methodsSet up, operate, monitor, and maintain restoration equipmentAccurately document job details, processes, and equipment usageCommunicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team membersFollow company safety policies, OSHA standards, and industry best practicesAssist with inventory control, equipment upkeep, and ongoing training initiativesDeploy for regional or out-of-area storm events as requiredSupport other departments during catastrophic events when neededRequired Skills & Experience:3–5 years of hands-on restoration experience (water, fire, mold)Strong customer service and communication skillsRestoration software experience (Xactimate, Encircle, Proven Jobs, XactAnalysis, etc.)Preferred Vendor Program experience strongly desiredDependable, adaptable, and team-oriented mindsetValid driver’s license and clean driving recordWillingness to work 40–50+ hours per week, including nights/weekendsMust pass background checkPhysical Requirements:Medium to heavy physical labor; lifting up to 75–100 lbsAbility to climb ladders up to 40’, crawl, bend, and work in confined spacesExposure to fire-, water-, mold-, and storm-damaged environmentsAbout DryCor Restore:DryCor Restore, a Showalter Family Company, is a veteran-owned, full-service restoration firm delivering professional mitigation and restoration services throughout the Greater Tampa Bay Area.
