Join Our Dynamic Team as an Independent Contractor Nurse Practitioner! Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated Nurse Practitioners for face-to-face assessments across New York State. This flexible role offers a competitive hourly rate of $95.00. Key Responsibilities: Conduct and review consumer assessments for long-term care services and supports. Stay updated with regulatory changes affecting assessment quality and validity. Utilize clinical competencies to assess cases and validate outcomes. Work collaboratively to enhance clinical quality and address care gaps. Provide clinical and educational support to aid project initiatives. Communicate effectively with diverse populations, ensuring age-specific responses are interpreted accurately. Engage in performance improvement and quality assurance activities and related meetings. Fulfill other responsibilities assigned by management. Qualifications: Current NY Nurse Practitioner Licensure. Proof of Board Certification. Malpractice Insurance covering $1M per incident / $3M aggregate. Minimum of 2 years practicing experience as a Nurse Practitioner. Computer literate with the ability to adapt to emerging technologies. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Adaptability to fast-paced environments and community collaboration. Vaccination Requirements: Physical exam signed by a physician within the last year. PPD or QuantiFeron (within the past year) or a chest X-ray (every 5 years). TDAP vaccination within the last 10 years. Quantitative titers for MMR and Varicella. Hepatitis B vaccination schedule or Declination Form accepted. Covid-19 vaccination proof. Flu vaccination proof.
