Identifying nonconformities, communicating documenting issues as they arise, maintaining compliance with ThermTech’s Quality Management System, working with production team members when needed.Principle Duties Responsibilities: Follow schedules process work to exceed customer expectations Use cranes or manual lifting (depending on part size) to transfer components from ThermTech heat treating baskets/grids to customer containers Utilize the hot list priority list for products Perform daily walk through with prior shift for verification of testing instruments. Safe efficient operation of all equipment within the Inspection Department Cell Learn proper testing locations based off of work instructions or part configuration Assist in developing appropriate inspection techniques where required Counting identifying parts prior to inspection for verification of specific orders Must understand proper packaging of parts included but not limited to the following: o Wrapping of parts to prevent damageo Shrink wrap and banding of parts to skidso UPS packaging, double boxingo Appropriate tagging/identification practice Maintain verification test blocks communicate with Equipment Quality when replacements are requiredPerform basic maintenance adjustments on inspection equipmentAssist with production when neededUnderstand tagging transfer proceduresUnderstand the processing of all material within production areasEnsure plant organization cleanliness Minimum Requirements:All hires are contingent upon a 9-panel hair follicle drug test background check.Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Acquire/maintain forklift certification Experience: Prior factory work preferredHard Skills: Be knowledgeable of all plant equipment proceduresBasic computer skillsBasic math knowledgeEnglish reading proficiencySafety-focused mindsetProficient physical shape- able to lift 25 lbs. regularly Soft Skills: Excellent written verbal communication skillsExcellent time managementAttention to detailOrganizedAdaptabilitySelf-motivatedAble to work collaboratively with othersWillingness to learn take direction
