Come work for us and see how BrightStar Care employees uphold A Higher Standard.Full-Time and Part-Time availableAll Shifts availableWe strongly live our value of a work-life balance by providing our Registered Nurses with the following:Home Care Nurse Benefits:Competitive pay: depending on license and experienceHealth, Dental & Vision Benefits for full time.401(k) for full timePTO for full timeWeekly pay via direct depositFlexible schedule to fit your lifestyleResponsibilities:Providing care according to the patient’s plan of care, be able to fully implement the five phases of the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) and observe professional standards of care in the home care setting.Basic home care/personal care skills (ie, ADL’s, nutrition monitoring, range of motion)Clinically Competent in various areas of skilled needs (ie, tube feeding, trach care, respiratory care, etc)Assure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.Requirements:Current RN License in good standingCertified CPR or BLSPreferred 2-5 years’ experience caring for peds is preferred but not necessaryMust be able to implement all five phases of nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, Trach care)Must observe professional standards of care in the home setting under the supervision of the Director of NursingLicensed driver with insured and reliable automobileEmpathy for the needs of the clientAbility to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectivelyEnsures confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information.Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
