Just as personal computers transformed our lives, AR and VR are set to revolutionize how we work, play, and connect. We're focused on developing the essential technologies for game-changing AR glasses and VR headsets, spanning areas such as optics, displays, computer vision, audio, graphics, brain-computer interface, haptic interaction, and more. Our internships last between twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) weeks with various start dates throughout the year. Key Responsibilities: Develop and innovate new organic optoelectronic applications through materials and process development. Synthesize and characterize groundbreaking organic nonlinear optical materials. Fabricate and assess devices utilizing these novel nonlinear optical materials. Minimum Qualifications: Currently pursuing or have obtained a PhD in Material Science, Organic Chemistry, Polymer Science, or a related discipline. 3+ years of experience in organic chemistry, organic optical/electric materials, or material/process design with a focus on materials synthesis and characterization. 3+ years of hands-on experience in experimental materials/process work, demonstrating ability to build proof-of-concept systems and evaluate their performance. Must secure work authorization in the employment country at the time of hire and maintain it throughout employment. Preferred Qualifications: Plan to return to your degree program post-internship. Proven accomplishments in the field, evidenced by grants, fellowships, patents, or first-authored publications at prominent workshops or conferences.
