Stream Sampling Volunteer Coordinator

Saturday Stream Snapshot is a volunteer stream monitoring program for the Little Miami River watershed in eastern Cincinnati. We are seeking a part time Volunteet Coordinator who will: - ensure our 60+ volunteers are available each month to collect stream samples from their team's assigned sites - contact our lab and substitute sampler volunteers to coordinate back-up coverage as needed - maintain our Master Volunteer Contact list, tracking volunteer hours, training and waiver completions - post sampler photos from the field in monthly social media announcement and volunteer spotlight posts This role can be done from home, but proximity to our lab in Loveland would be helpful to assist at sample check-in on the second Saturday morning of March-Nov, or to meet samplers to get their sampling kits, if the need arises. We estimate 15-20 hours/month and provide a $400 monthly stipend for the role.
