Duties primarily include teaching introductory math courses, ability to teach upper-level mathematics/statistics classes, and experience in teaching large classes. Service responsibilities, such as support for departmental curriculum / pedagogy development or student advising may also be assigned, and the responsibility to teach four mathematics/statistics courses each semester. Required Qualifications: include a Master's degree or equivalent in mathematics, statistics, or a related area (Lecturer) or a doctoral degree in mathematics, statistics, or a related area (Assistant Teaching Professor). Preferred qualifications include a master's degree (Lecturer) or doctoral degree (Assistant Teaching Professor) in math or a related area, and at least one year of experience teaching introductory college math courses, and experience in teaching actuarial courses, including passing actuarial exams.
