Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) | Permanent Position | Open to Local & Travel Candidates Location: West Palm Beach, FL 33415 Assignment Duration: Permanent Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours/week Pay Rate: $27.51 - $29.33 per hour Responsibilities: Assist in implementing physical therapy treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist. Perform therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional activities with patients. Educate patients and families on exercise programs and home safety. Record accurate and timely patient progress notes and documentation. Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to adjust treatment as needed. Ensure equipment is clean, safe, and maintained. Participate in team meetings and patient care conferences. Comply with all state and federal regulations and facility policies. Requirements: Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required). Previous experience as a PTA. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team. Travel & Local Considerations: Candidates residing 50 miles from the facility are eligible for travel pay.
