Purpose: The Regulatory & Quality Performance Manager serves as a critical member of the multidisciplinary team, overseeing quality-related activities across healthcare communities. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care through comprehensive quality monitoring, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. The Regulatory & Quality Performance Manager provides leadership, support, and direction while working collaboratively with community management and regional teams to develop and implement quality processes. Essential Job Functions:Quality Monitoring & ImprovementDevelop and implement plans of correction for identified deficiencies and quality issues Conduct data analytic interpretation to identify trends and areas for improvement Evaluate monthly Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) findings and action plan development Prepare comprehensive monthly reporting of quality trends and outcomes for senior leadership Monitor and analyze infection control data, including communicable disease outbreaks, and track vaccine compliance rates Coordinate post-incident calls and follow-up procedures for applicable incidents Monitor falls and injury data, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with communities to implement prevention strategies Performance ManagementDevelop, implement, and oversee Community Performance Improvement Plans based on incident trends (PIPs) Conduct, along with the regional team, a Root Cause Analysis for clinical adverse events and near-miss incidents Develop and monitor action plans to reduce the risk of recurrence Identify potential risk areas and develop systems to minimize adverse events Regulatory Compliance & ReportingTrack and trend regulatory data Facilitate organizational annual survey preparation and aggregate data Oversee performance improvement plan from results and monitor performance Develops and implements robust regulatory audit systems and aggregates data Review statement of deficiencies and plan of corrections and work with regional and community teams on action plans Maintains current expertise on evolving regulations and disseminates critical updates to community leadership Perform on-site audits as needed Technology & DocumentationUtilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems for quality monitoring and reporting Demonstrate proficiency in healthcare technology platforms and quality management software Maintain accurate documentation of all quality assurance activities Generate reports and analytics using various technology platforms Minimum Eligibility Requirements:Education & LicensureBachelor's degree preferred in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Risk Management, or related field Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of quality assurance experience, preferably in senior living Multisite experience required Working Conditions:Position Type: Full-time remote position with standard business hours Travel: Up to 40% travel to community locations for assessments and audits Schedule Flexibility: Some evening or weekend work may be required for urgent matters Work Environment: Exposure to sensitive and potentially stressful situations This position is paid a salary intended to cover all hours worked during the week, knowing those hours may sometimes exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week and may fluctuate from week to week
