Hydraulic Hose Technician

Responsibilities Contributes to a positive work environment and promotes the vision, mission, and values of BMC. Completes all job responsibilities in a safe manner, promotes and champions a safe and healthy work environment. Travel to customer sites in a fully equipped mobile service truck to provide on-site hydraulic hose service and support. Fabricate hydraulic hoses according to specifications, including measuring, cutting, and crimping hoses. Assemble and install hose fittings, ensuring proper connections and leak-free operation. Inspect and repair damaged hydraulic hoses and lines, determining the extent of the damage and the necessary repairs. Troubleshoot hydraulic system issues related to hoses and fittings in the field. Perform preventative maintenance on hydraulic hose assemblies and associated components. Identify hose specifications and select appropriate hoses and fittings for various applications. Conduct pressure testing of hose assemblies to ensure integrity and safety. Maintain accurate records of field service calls, hose inventory, repairs, and installations. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures on customer job sites. Maintain a clean and organized mobile service truck and tools. Communicate effectively with customers and team members, providing exceptional service and support. Other duties as assigned.
