Title: Electrical Engineer/ PLC Technician Job Type: Full-Time Employment Job Location: Phoenix, AZJob Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to apply technical expertise in the installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various electrical and electronic equipment. This role involves working with production and building equipment, including motors, servos, relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, proximity sensors, and more. Required Education/Experience: Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in PLC programming and Automation Controls. Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Extensive experience in troubleshooting, interpreting, modifying, and programming PLCs. Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, & PanelViews. Proficiency in Control logic, Ladder logic, Function Block Diagram & Structured Text. Experience with Ignition Software. Familiarity with Mechanical, Pneumatic & Hydraulic systems. Job Responsibilities: Maintain PLC systems by ensuring program backups and spare parts availability. Troubleshoot electrical devices, dismantle, examine, adjust, and repair or replace defective parts. Troubleshoot, design, upgrade, and install electrical equipment, circuits, and systems. Research and procure necessary supplies, parts, and machines for work orders. Program and install Smart Sensors. Collaborate with maintenance technicians to troubleshoot instrument and PLC problems. Work with engineering personnel to determine routine changes to programming on PLCs and HMIs. Support projects involving PLCs by overseeing contractors and/or writing PLC and HMI programming.
