Data Fabrics Architect

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop end-to-end Data Fabric solutions to support data integration, accessibility, and governance across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Lead the architectural strategy and infrastructure setup for Building Fabrics, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineering, architecture, and operations to align fabric infrastructure with business needs. Define best practices and technical standards for fabric architecture, metadata management, and data lineage. Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies for implementing and optimizing data fabrics. Provide expert-level guidance on data virtualization, cataloging, and data movement strategies within the fabric. Oversee implementation and performance tuning of fabric infrastructure components such as data pipelines, APIs, and data access layers. Mentor team members and support knowledge sharing across the organization. Required Qualifications: 12+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or infrastructure roles. Proven expertise in designing and implementing Data Fabric architectures (e.g., using platforms like Microsoft Fabric, Informatica, Talend, IBM Cloud Pak for Data, etc.). Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid data infrastructure. Hands-on experience with data integration, data governance, cataloging, and metadata management. Familiarity with modern data stack technologies: Delta Lake, Apache Spark, Azure Synapse, Power BI, etc. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
