Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the steel industry. In this role, you will oversee and successfully deliver high-profile steel construction projects from inception to completion. If you have a strong background in steel and construction, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving exceptional results, this opportunity is for you. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring project success and profitability. Responsibilities Manage and lead steel construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards. Collaborate with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors, to ensure effective coordination and successful outcomes. Read and interpret structural drawings, translating them into actionable plans and deliverables. Utilize in-depth knowledge of structural and miscellaneous steel to provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Apply strong construction expertise to make informed decisions and proactively address project challenges. Balance field and office responsibilities, including overseeing on-site activities, conducting site visits, and managing project documentation. Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain clear expectations and strong relationships. Collaborate with Commercial General Contractors (GCs) to drive successful project outcomes. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in the steel industry required. 5 or more years of project management experience in the steel industry preferred. Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural drawings. Extensive knowledge of structural and miscellaneous steel, including applications, fabrication, and installation processes. Strong understanding of construction practices, regulations, and quality standards. Experience working in both field and office environments. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience collaborating with Commercial General Contractors is highly encouraged. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards. Commercial General Contractors encouraged to apply.
