Job Title: Senior Core Engineer Oil & Gas Location: Halliburton, Carrollton, Texas, USA Years of Experience: 10 to 15 Years Role open only for contract : $50 to 55hr Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Core Engineer with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas domain to join our team as a contractor. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Solidworks and its application within the Oil & Gas industry. This role requires a strategic thinker who can contribute to engineering projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Responsibilities Design and develop engineering solutions using Solidworks tailored for the Oil & Gas sector. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure project requirements are met and aligned with business goals. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for engineering projects. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members. Prepare and present engineering reports and documentation to stakeholders. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in engineering practices related to Oil & Gas. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle. Mandatory Skills Proven experience in the Oil & Gas business, with a strong understanding of industry specific challenges and requirements. Expertise in Solidworks, including advanced modeling, simulation, and analysis capabilities. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a focus on delivering innovative engineering solutions. Preferred Skills Experience with other engineering software tools relevant to the Oil & Gas industry. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards in the Oil & Gas sector. Experience in conducting training sessions or workshops for engineering teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field. 10 15 years of relevant experience in engineering roles within the Oil & Gas industry. Professional certifications in project management or engineering are a plus. Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices specific to the Oil & Gas sector.
