Maintenance Technician - Day and Night Shift

Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Zeeland, MI Duration: FTE Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team. Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment. Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed. Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment. Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals. Minimize downtime due to equipment failure. Requirements: Education and Experience: At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience OR 1 year of industrial maintenance experience education (e.g., possess industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience. Applicants will be considered for Associate Maintenance Technicians, General Maintenance Technicians, and Sr Maintenance Technicians level openings. Leveling is determined during the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skills required.
