Registered Nurse- Telemetry (PRN)Location: Louisville, KY, 40217 Employment Type: PRN Pay Rate: $40 - $45/hr; (Negotiable based on experience) Shifts Available: 12-hr Shifts 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our telemetry team on a PRN basis. The RN will provide direct patient care, monitor cardiac telemetry, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality nursing services to patients with cardiac and other complex health needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to patients on telemetry units in accordance with established standards and protocols. Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment and promptly identify and report any abnormalities or changes in condition. Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians. Assess patients regularly and document changes in condition accurately and timely. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Educate patients and their families regarding their conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies. Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients. Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky. Minimum of 1-2 years nursing experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
