Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Assembler opportunities with Thermo Fisher Scientific in Marietta, OH. Responsibilities for an Assembler include but are not limited to: • Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE while performing manufacturing and assembly duties • Review work orders, interpret product specifications, and perform visual quality inspections on components and completed units • Assemble parts using hand tools, drill press, rivet gun, saw, and other equipment according to engineering specifications • Install wiring harnesses, sensors, and electrical components; ensure completed units meet quality control standards before moving to next workstation Candidates for Assembler must meet the following requirements to be considered: • High school diploma or GED required • 1-2 years of manufacturing or product assembly experience • Ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds and stand, bend, and reach throughout shift • Beginner computer skills or willingness to learn • Ability to read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, part numbers, and work instructions (preferred) What's in this Assembler position for you? • Pay: $18.00 per hour • Shift: Monday - Friday 1st Shift: 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM Overtime may include 9-10 hour shifts and occasional Saturdays (communicated in advance) • Weekly paycheck • Dedicated Onboarding Specialist & Recruiter • Access to Adecco's Aspire Academy with thousands of free upskilling courses • Onsite position with potential for temp-to-perm hire This Assembler position is being recruited for by one of our Centralized Delivery Team and not your local Branch.
