Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVOR Job Details: Work Monday through Friday, typically 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule Clock in at 5:45 AM and out at 2:15 PM for 7:00 AM heart cases Clock in at 6:40 AM and out at 3:10 PM for 8:15 AM heart cases Required to take weekday call 1-2 times per week, staying until cases are finished then on call from home Weekend call required 1-2 weekends per 6-week schedule from Friday 3:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM Must live within 30-40 minutes of facility for call responsibilities Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required Must have cardiothoracic experience Travel experience required Valid Pennsylvania license or Compact license required at time of submission BLS certification required Circulating skills required Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients Work in 10-room cardiac OR environment Average of at least 2 cases per day Float within hospital when needed Complete 10 hours of orientation Two supervisor references preferred Facility: This healthcare facility features a dedicated cardiac surgery program with a specialized heart team and comprehensive cardiovascular services.
