Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Service Sales Representative to support and grow our service business in and around Hawthorne, NY. This role combines inside sales coordination, project management, and field engagement to help expand repair work, renew service agreements, and deliver value-added solutions to our customers. If you are organized, proactive, and energized by closing opportunities while delivering excellent service, this role offers strong growth potential within a stable, service-driven organization. What You'll DoSales & Revenue GrowthGenerate and deliver repair quotes and proposals Proactively follow up on open quotes to drive conversion Convert inspection report deficiencies into approved repair work Identify and sell value-added service agreements to existing customers Promote multi-service packaging to increase customer value and retention Track and report wins, losses, and conversion metrics Customer Relationship ManagementServe as a primary point of contact for service-related sales inquiries Conduct on-site customer surveys and assess job requirements Address customer questions and provide consultative solutions Sales Operations & SupportMaintain accurate bid logs and ensure daily quote turnaround Process incoming leads and route appropriately Coordinate special job requirements with customers and internal teams Partner with Accounts Receivable when needed to assist with collections follow-up What Success Looks LikeHigh quote-to-close ratio Strong service agreement renewal rates Increased service contract penetration within existing accounts Consistent daily follow-up activity Positive customer feedback and retention What You BringStrong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Confidence handling customer conversations in person and by phone Highly organized with strong time management skills Detail-oriented with accurate documentation habits Self-motivated and results-driven Ability to quickly learn product and service offerings Professional, customer-first mindset Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED required Associate's Degree preferred 1-3+ years of sales, service industry, trade, or customer-facing experience preferred Experience in service-based or technical environments is a plus Work EnvironmentPrimarily office-based with moderate noise levels Requires travel to customer locations for on-site surveys Occasional exposure to active job sites, including dust, fumes, and elevated noise levels As part of the Davis-Ulmer Family of Companies, we believe that investing and empowering our employees as leaders develops an organization that delivers innovative solutions and services that create a superior customer experience.
