Senior Project Manager

We invite candidates from the Lafayette, LA area to apply. This pivotal role will be based primarily in Lafayette, with occasional travel to Baton Rouge. What you'll be doing: Project Execution Serve as the primary representative for the company, engaging with clients, internal teams, and external contractors throughout project execution. Draft and implement a comprehensive Project Execution Plan (PEP) detailing the project team, tasks, schedules, and manpower requirements. Facilitate a project kick-off meeting to align all team members with the PEP. Oversee quality control procedures and ensure they are thoroughly documented. Collaborate with accounting for project closure processes, ensuring all documents are retained according to corporate policy. Maintain regular communication with field personnel during all project activities. Project Monitoring and Review Maintain ongoing communication with clients to address technical and scheduling concerns. Conduct regular meetings to assess project progress and enhance coordination. Participate in monthly project reviews that coincide with billing and status updates. Present detailed project reviews to the Group Manager. Track and report on milestones throughout the design, bidding, and construction phases of projects. Issue monthly reports on project progress. Review monthly Revenue Summary Reports for accuracy. Document job progress meticulously through daily logs and reports. Project Control Develop and maintain essential project documents and processes to support quality control and deliverables. Assist in creating and managing master budgets and timelines. Ensure all design changes are approved and compliant with project standards. Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager and other Project Managers to tackle scheduling or technical challenges. Guarantee timely documentation and communication for RFIs, ASIs, contract addenda, shop drawings, and change orders. Review and authorize schedules of values, payment applications, and change orders on behalf of the client. Maintain project files and archives using a web-based project management information system (PMIS). Assess impacts of scope changes on project budgets and negotiate adjustments with clients as necessary. Ensure timely invoicing and documentation submission. Manage client accounts, including collections of Accounts Receivable (AR). Proactively identify potential problems and coordinate with stakeholders to implement solutions. Keep clients informed of daily project activities. What you need to have: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution. Preferred licensure or certifications such as RA, LEED AP, AIA, NCARB, or PE in Louisiana. Extensive background in construction management with a minimum of 7-10 years in project/program management. Experience in Project Management and/or Estimation for construction or facility management projects is essential. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening in compliance with federal regulations. Possession of a valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR). Why Join Us?
