Job Description Job Location (No exceptions - onsite) Nashville, TN Austin, TX Broomfield, CO Join our talented team of software developers dedicated to designing scalable and highly available cloud services within a premier cloud development environment. We are looking for a Senior Engineering professional with extensive experience in designing and leading the development and operations of cloud services. Your deep domain knowledge in media production pipeline infrastructure used in film, animation, and game development studios is a valuable asset. In this role, you will serve as an individual contributor with a proven track record, showcasing both technical depth and maturity in software development. We value soft skills as much as technical abilities, so excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential. You will mentor fellow engineers and confidently drive complex technical projects and assignments. You will have opportunities for continuous technical innovation. Responsibilities Design cloud services focusing on availability, scalability, observability, and testability. Implement, validate, and document services and their microservices components. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and operate cloud services that support animation, film, and game production workflows. Keep current with emerging technologies and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and promoting innovation within the organization. Launch new cloud services and achieve operational excellence. Lead implementation efforts to achieve the team’s technical vision. Engage with geographically distributed engineering teams effectively. Coach and mentor engineering staff. Establish and uphold software development standards, processes, and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 8+ years of experience in software development. Experience with large-scale enterprise software development, particularly regarding cloud services and distributed systems. In-depth knowledge of workflows and pipelines for media production, digital asset management, and relevant tools used by artists, engineers, editors, and content creators. Experience as a lead developer in designing, implementing, and operating cloud services. Ability to collaborate with geo-distributed teams effectively. Background in software implementation, code and design review, and failure root cause analysis. Expertise in designing for availability, observability, scalability, testability, and recoverability. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only: US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
