Apartment Maintenance Technician

We are looking for an accountable person with experience in maintenance, repair, and/or remodeling to join and grow their career with Vesta Properties. The primary responsibility of this position is to perform routine maintenance, turnover, and remodel work at our apartment properties located in Shoreline, Renton, Kent, and Burien. This is a full-time position with great long-term growth potential. You must have dependable transportation, willing to travel to all properties in King County, have your own hand tools, a good work ethic and attitude. Significant past experience as a professional maintenance worker is highly preferred and a positive attitude and willingness to learn is a must! Responsibilities: Troubleshooting and performing routine plumbing, electrical and other repairs Perform unit turnover work such as painting and general repair work Remodel work including carpentry, drywall, tile setting, flooring, minor electrical and plumbing Interact with tenants in a professional and friendly manner Qualifications: Previous experience in general maintenance / carpentry Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA) Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry Ability to lift 40+ lbs on a consistent basis We look forward to hearing from you!
