Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Fulfillment Underwriter to join our esteemed mortgage client, where you will play a vital role in ensuring that reviewed assets comply with all relevant investor guidelines. Your expertise will be crucial in making quality and accurate decisions. Position Locations: Phoenix, AZ Tampa, FL St. Louis, MO Plano, TX Moorpark, CA Pasadena, CA Essential Duties: Evaluate a comprehensive range of mortgage loans, including FHA loans. Review mortgage applications and associated documentation for precision and completeness. Assist clients in preparing mortgage applications and resolving any outstanding issues. Collaborate with compliance officers to ensure adherence to Federal, State, and local regulations regarding mortgage and loan materials. Make timely approval or denial decisions on mortgage applications. Perform additional related duties as needed. Exhibit behaviors that align with the company's culture and values. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 3 years of mortgage underwriting experience required. Strong understanding of mortgage laws and regulations, including the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act. Familiarity with state and federal agency mortgage loan guidelines is preferred. Skills and Job-Specific Competencies: Extensive knowledge of mortgage underwriting principles and basic automated underwriting systems. Proficient in the use of automated underwriting tools. Travel Requirements: There is no travel required unless specified by the client. Physical Requirements: The role may require mobility for in-person meetings, as well as prolonged periods of sitting or standing, and the use of telecommunication and electronic devices. Our compensation is determined by factors such as education, certifications, location, and experience. The estimated hourly pay range for this role is $26 - $36.
