Horizontal Milling Machinist - Hiring all skill levels, 1st or 2nd shift Join a Team That Values Precision, Skill, and Growth We are actively seeking experienced Horizontal Milling (Makino) System Machinists to join our high-performing manufacturing team. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in a hands-on machining environment, demonstrate strong technical ability, and take pride in producing high-quality, precision-engineered components. Key Responsibilities Interpret and apply blueprints and engineering drawings with accuracy Set up and operate CNC turning or milling machines Perform detailed quality inspections on finished parts Adjust machine settings to maintain optimal performance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors Essential Skills & Qualifications Proven experience with CNC, milling, and horizontal milling operations Ability to perform machine changeovers and operate production machinery Proficiency with precision measuring tools, including micrometers 3+ years of machining experience preferred Strong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skills Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and within a team setting Why You'll Love Working Here We offer a competitive wage , sign-on bonus , referral bonuses , and a comprehensive benefits package-including a zero-premium medical plan for employees. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $76960.00/yr.
