Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required. Ensure thorough documentation of all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and actively participate in maintaining lab quality standards. Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree coupled with readiness for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within one year of hire. Maintain current certification throughout the course of employment. Skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork with healthcare partners.
