Senior Central Office Installer

Join Our Team as a Senior Central Office Installer! We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Level 4 Central Office Installer to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Perform advanced installation activities with minimal supervision. Utilize your knowledge of GR-1275 and NSTD119 standards to ensure compliance with installation and quality requirements. Run and terminate power and Cat cabling, as well as install and test fiber optics. Maintain effective communication with project management and engineering teams to resolve issues quickly. Input job status and reconciliation of materials using our web-based inventory control platform. Ensure customer satisfaction by controlling on-site job aspects and understanding customer expectations. Conduct hardware testing including power verification and system tests. Maintain and calibrate tools assigned to you, ensuring they are in optimal working condition. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Center, PoP, or Central Office installations. Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic power tools. Experience with optical routing equipment installation and fiber optic cable testing practices. Knowledge of AC/DC power systems and infrastructure installation (equipment racks, cable racks, etc.). Physical Requirements: Ability to work with hands for 50% of the time (typing, writing, handling paperwork). Willingness to climb ladders, work under raised floors, and perform cutting and drilling tasks. Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and distinguish between different colors. Comfort working in tight spaces and close vision for working with tools and networking devices.
