Description Essential Functions: Conduct all preventive maintenance activities including PMA, PMB, coolant flushes, and transmission services. Process, maintain, and file all required DOT, tank, and maintenance documentation. Ensure all necessary paperwork, documentation, and supplies are available on every truck. Coordinate dealership repairs, including scheduling drop-off and pick-up of vehicles. Perform weekly inspections of trucks and ensure they are kept clean and organized. Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure its proper use among staff. Conduct pre-trip inspections and verify completion of all required checks. Maintain clear communication with the District Operations Manager regarding truck safety and promptly report any safety concerns. Handle, relocate, service, and rework skid tanks as necessary. Troubleshoot issues with handheld devices. Manage shop inventory, including ordering, receiving, and entering all parts in the TMW system. Preload trucks, coordinate fuel transfers, and oversee truck loading and supplier selection. Conduct pre-employment road tests and train new drivers in terminal loading procedures. Assist with driver duties as needed, including covering primary routes during absences and participating in storm fueling. Perform other administrative tasks as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; up to three months of truck driving experience preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience as a Fuel Delivery Driver or Diesel Mechanic. Valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and comply with all traffic regulations. Physical and mechanical aptitude to fulfill all primary job responsibilities. Class A or B Commercial Driver's License required. Hazmat and tanker endorsements are necessary. Familiarity with TMW and PeopleNet software, along with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office products. Ability to operate equipment, such as fuel nozzles, tanker equipment, handheld devices, and computers. Proficient in using standard office equipment. Strong teamwork and leadership skills to collaborate effectively with the District Operations Manager, Safety Manager, and Drivers.
