JOB DESCRIPTION Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Assembler II in Greenville, SC. The Assembler IIis responsible for performing a variety of tasks to safely produce quality products, meeting or exceeding productivity goals and operating machinery correctly. Responsibilities of an Assembler II includes: Essential Duties and Functions Perform the following necessary tasks to produce foam products: assemble, glue,cut, print, fold, press, infl ate, seal, label, and pack, consistently meeting orexceeding productivity goals. Verify that the product is being made properly and conforms to quality standards. Capable of locating and organizing raw materials for production. Minimize scrap through proper and careful handling of materials. Correctly set up and operate production machinery according to instructions. Must be fully cross-trained in 2-3 jobs within the department. Understand the operation of production machinery to troubleshoot machineerrors. Basic understanding of lean manufacturing procedures and 5S. Accurately complete and maintain all necessary paperwork. Understand how to print and change labels using UDI. Performs the more complex job functions on the production fl oor.
