About the Role As a Group Fitness Leader, you will lead exciting and results-driven fitness classes, empowering our members to achieve their personal health goals. Your expertise will create a motivating atmosphere, inspiring participants to stay engaged in their wellness journeys. Daily Responsibilities Include: Creating a supportive and service-oriented environment in the fitness classes and recognizing member achievements. Engaging with members to promote fitness activities and foster community connections. Delivering personalized service, including maintaining hydration and comfort for participants. Showcasing our incredible amenities and programs with professionalism and passion. Designing innovative class curricula aligned with current fitness trends. Regularly updating class music and choreography to keep sessions fresh and engaging. Participating in continuing education opportunities to stay updated in the field. Completing necessary administrative tasks in line with operating standards. Maintaining equipment and supplies to ensure the best experience for members. Upholding cleanliness and organization within assigned areas of the club. Serving as a fitness ambassador, inspiring confidence and commitment among members. Additional Duties: Be adaptable in supporting colleagues and taking on various responsibilities as needed. Abide by all club policies, procedures, and standards to ensure smooth operations. Demonstrate initiative in both personal and professional growth, maintaining relevant certifications. Manage tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Communicate clearly and professionally with all team members and stakeholders. Stay calm and focused under pressure, successfully managing multiple responsibilities. Qualifications: Required: High school diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of experience as a group fitness instructor. Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, AED, and group exercise instruction from recognized organizations. Preferred: Degree in health, fitness, or exercise science. Exceptional communication and motivational skills. Able to assess fitness levels and customize programs effectively. Physical Requirements: Frequent mobility including sitting, standing, and walking. Occasional exposure to varying temperatures and environments. Physical ability to lift and handle equipment as necessary (up to 100 lbs). Work Schedule: Commitment to attendance as outlined in the schedule. Flexibility to work extra hours when required. Availability for weekend and holiday shifts as needed.
