High Voltage Construction Supervisor Join William Charles Construction, a MasTec Company, as we seek a dedicated High Voltage Construction Supervisor to lead our Power Delivery team. This role is crucial for managing clean energy projects effectively while focusing on field coordination, safety, and quality compliance. This position is based out of our site field office in Rockford, IL, and will involve considerable travel (up to 75%, for example, three weeks or 15 days per month). Candidates must be able to travel by various means including car and commercial airlines, as well as utilize public transportation. Key Responsibilities: Develop safety plans for field operations, tackling challenges such as busy roadways and environmental hazards. Oversee personnel management, including setting and tracking production, safety, and quality goals. Identify and allocate necessary resources, including personnel and equipment for job sites. Maintain and update project work schedules. Assist in estimating monthly project costs and communicate findings with the Project Manager. Track and report weekly progress and performance accurately. Coordinate equipment acquisitions with the Procurement Department. Review project advancement and performance regularly with the Project Manager. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. OSHA 30 Hour certification. Minimum of 5 years of experience in field supervision/management in solar and/or wind sectors. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future. Preferred Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and regulations. Strong written communication skills for reporting and correspondence. Effective presentation skills for interacting with project managers, superintendents, and clients.
