Operations Supervisor Join our team as an Operations Supervisor, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering our mission to provide the most enjoyable shopping experience for our Guests. You will oversee various operational tasks and may also fulfill roles such as Freight Coordinator and Visual Merchandiser as needed. Operations Flexible scheduling required, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and significant holiday periods. Execute daily operational responsibilities effectively. Manage promotions, ensuring team education and proper display of signage. Conduct pulls and markdowns as necessary. Ensure layaway procedures are maintained accurately and efficiently. Respond to internal and external inquiries over the phone with professionalism. Oversee reservation applications, including follow-ups and team education. Lead recruitment efforts and facilitate onboarding for new team members. Carry out inventory reviews throughout the year. Become proficient in using Point of Sale (POS) software. Understand and apply company policies regarding payments, exchanges, and loss prevention techniques. Handle freight delivery and store transfers, ensuring accurate in-store record-keeping. Monitor security risks, implementing preventative measures proactively. Organize shipments, ensuring timely dispatch and proper packing. Maintain organized stock supplies and fixtures. Keep the workspace neat, clean, and organized. Address maintenance issues as necessary and report any violations swiftly. Communicate suggestions related to merchandise handling effectively. Adhere to the company's code of ethics and policies. Perform additional duties as assigned. Sales Generation and Guest Service Check and verify merchandise invoices against received items. Ship alterations, layaways, or special orders upon request. Ensure accuracy of freight and transfer documentation. Review transfers through the register to avoid discrepancies. Pack items appropriately for presentation when shipping. Visual Merchandise Management Develop a weekly visual merchandising strategy. Implement visual standards and utilize weekly checklists effectively. Use performance tracking tools to optimize product rotation. Stay updated on current visual merchandising techniques. Maintain an inviting showcase through high standards and urgency. Leadership Foster an environment where feedback is welcomed and valued. Encourage individual and team development.
