We are seeking a TIG Welder I to perform critical Manual Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) on advanced duct assemblies. This is an opportunity to work with high-performance alloys and contribute to flight-safety components where quality and precision are paramount. salary: $36.84 - $36.85 per hour shift: Second work hours: 3 PM - 11 PM education: High School Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of complex duct assemblies. Your daily impact includes: Precision Fabrication: Scribe, cut, and grind details to tight tolerances according to technical blueprints. Advanced Welding: Perform GTAW (TIG) on Inconel, Stainless Steel, and potentially Titanium alloys (thickness ranging from 0.020" to 0.125") per AWS D17.1 standards. Quality Assurance: Ensure part integrity through meticulous visual inspection and physical measurement using hand tools and gauges. Safety Leadership: Maintain a clean, safe environment by following all shop and environmental safety procedures and utilizing PPE at all times. The essential functions of this role include: working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes manual lifting up to 35lbs standing for 8 hours at one time Skills Tig (1 year of experience is required) weld (2 years of experience is required) Blueprint Reading (2 years of experience is required) Fabrication Tools (2 years of experience is required) Calipers (2 years of experience is required) micrometers (2 years of experience is required) pi tapes (2 years of experience is required) quality inspection (1 year of experience is required) Gas Tungsten Arc welding (1 year of experience is required) Stainless Steel welds (1 year of experience is required) Qualifications Years of experience: 2 years Experience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
