We are seeking a TIG Welder I to perform critical Manual Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) on advanced duct assemblies. This is an opportunity to work with high-performance alloys and contribute to flight-safety components where quality and precision are paramount. salary: $36.84 - $36.85 per hour shift: Second work hours: 3 PM - 11 PM education: High School Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of complex duct assemblies. Your daily impact includes: Precision Fabrication: Scribe, cut, and grind details to tight tolerances according to technical blueprints. Advanced Welding: Perform GTAW (TIG) on Inconel, Stainless Steel, and potentially Titanium alloys (thickness ranging from 0.020" to 0.125") per AWS D17.1 standards. Quality Assurance: Ensure part integrity through meticulous visual inspection and physical measurement using hand tools and gauges. Safety Leadership: Maintain a clean, safe environment by following all shop and environmental safety procedures and utilizing PPE at all times.
