Senior Project Manager, Digital Engineering Solutions

CDM Smith is looking for a dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead our Digital Engineering Solutions team. As part of our Digital Engineering Solutions team, you will also engage in research and development, fostering innovative ideas throughout the company. Key Responsibilities: Oversee project completion independently while promoting collaboration within the team. Lead initiatives that further the team's mission and core values. Engage diverse stakeholders from engineering and architectural backgrounds to align projects with strategic objectives. Manage multiple assignments simultaneously with efficiency. Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to develop project scope, goals, deliverables, and risk management strategies. Develop and oversee detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets while proactively managing scope and financial changes. Identify risks throughout the project lifecycle and implement effective mitigation strategies. Address project obstacles promptly, escalating issues as necessary to keep projects on track. Ensure high-quality outcomes throughout the project delivery process and uphold established standards. Maintain close monitoring of the project budget to address cost variations effectively. Facilitate clear and ongoing communication with leadership, clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to update them on project progress and resolve any challenges. Manage cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work atmosphere. Work closely with product leads and delivery managers to ensure project objectives are achieved. Document project plans, KPI reports, and maintain comprehensive records throughout the lifecycle. Stay abreast of emerging technologies to address industry challenges effectively. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field. At least 7 years of relevant project management experience. Equivalent additional experience may substitute for a college degree. Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally as needed based on project requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Bachelor's or master's degree in fields such as computer science, engineering, or business.
