Job Description Craft Customized Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design specialized therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional objectives. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to promote improvement in patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities. Collaborate with a Multi-Disciplinary Team: Work in close partnership with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver complete and holistic patient care. Educate Patients and Family Members: Provide guidance to patients and their caregivers on therapy techniques that encourage ongoing progress outside of the clinical environment. Track Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor clinical developments and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on track with their recovery. Education Qualification in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution. Commitment to ongoing learning through continuing education or post-graduate certifications is highly encouraged. Certifications Must possess a valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license. NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory. Skills A genuine passion for assisting people and a strong desire to help others attain their greatest level of independence. Excellent, empathetic communication capabilities with both patients and team members alike. Creative problem-solving skills to adjust plans according to diverse patient needs.
