As a Team Leader for Multiple Tax Offices, you will oversee the operation of three H&R Block tax offices. Your leadership will focus on fostering customer-centric teams to enhance our seasonal tax business. You will be the front-line manager responsible for developing associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and meeting all growth objectives for these offices. Prior tax preparation experience is not a requirement. This role requires a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season. From January to April, you will transition to a full-time role, including evening and weekend hours as necessary. Please note that this is an in-person position. It would be even better if you also had... Experience managing multiple units in retail, restaurant, banking, or a related field. What you'll bring to the team... Manage staffing, operations, and logistics across multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders. Collaborate with the District General Manager (DGM) to develop and implement growth plans and client targets, while fostering local partnerships and community involvement. Participate in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office associate positions. Conduct performance reviews and work with the Associate Relations Center to address associate concerns and performance issues. Create an engaging team environment by training and coaching associates, recognizing outstanding contributions. Lead daily team meetings and effectively communicate essential information to all tax office associates. Create work schedules for associates across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management. Travel between offices as necessary. Prepare tax returns as needed after completing the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment. Your Expertise: Experience managing people with a proven ability to grow and develop associates. Aptitude for executing growth plans and fostering a growth-oriented culture. Strong decision-making and judgment skills, thriving in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric mindset focused on exceeding client needs. Computer proficiency, particularly with MS Office. Bachelor's degree in a related field or a high school diploma with equivalent experience. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). Pay Range Information Pay range for this position is $15.00 - $40.00/Hr. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual compensation will depend on experience, education, skills, performance, and job location. Successful candidates may participate in incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans that can generate additional earnings.
