KPMG is in search of a highly experienced director to join our Legal, Regulatory & Compliance organization. Key Responsibilities: Develop and uphold comprehensive firm-wide policies and procedures to ensure effective compliance programs align with regulatory expectations and industry best practices. Establish governance structures for consistent execution and oversight of compliance initiatives across ethics and compliance, including Compliance Operations. Stay informed on legislative and regulatory changes, revising ethics and compliance policies, training, processes, and controls as necessary. Conduct collaborative assessments of compliance programs, evaluating their effectiveness and implementing monitoring plans to ensure adherence to established standards and regulations. Regularly review the ethics and compliance program, identifying strategic gaps and enhancing opportunities. Assist in preparing reports for the Chief Executive Compliance Officer (CECO) to keep management and the board of directors updated on the effectiveness of KPMG's Ethics & Compliance programs. Uphold the principles of integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility within our positive work environment. Qualifications: A minimum of ten years of experience in compliance, risk management, legal, or related fields; prior experience in professional services or regulated industries is advantageous. A Master's degree, Juris Doctor, or an advanced degree from an accredited institution is preferred; a Bachelor's degree is required. Proven expertise in enterprise-wide compliance programs and governance frameworks. Solid understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management principles, and compliance monitoring methodologies. Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills. Skilled at synthesizing complex information and providing actionable insights to management. Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship.
