Deliver personalized speech therapies that emphasize communication skills, language development, fluency, voice enhancement, and swallowing techniques. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to construct coherent care pathways. Provide educational support for patients and their families to foster progress outside clinical settings. Assist with inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions on occasion, guaranteeing continuous care throughout the recovery journey. Ensure all documentation is accurate and completed in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in ongoing education to remain at the forefront of advancements within the field through collaboration with peers. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not already ASHA-certified. Certifications Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. The Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be achieved within the first 30 days of employment. Skills Deep knowledge of evidence-informed treatment practices for all age demographics, with a comprehensive grasp of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Outstanding interpersonal communication abilities to engage effectively with patients, families, and integrated care teams.
