Technician - Patient Care Tech

Description: must live 50 miles away 8 week position 3 x 12s days on MS unit must be able to start 10/6 Our ideal candidate, who plays a pivotal role in providing quality care to patients, will be responsible for performing tasks such as taking vital signs and assisting with activities of daily living. The Patient Care Technician will work closely with the Registered Nurse or nursing team to ensure that all patient needs are met effectively and efficiently. By collaborating with the healthcare professionals, our candidate will develop a comprehensive understanding of patient care protocols and assist in implementing treatments and interventions as directed by the nursing staff. Requirements: High School diploma 1 Year recent PCT experience in an acute care facility Excellent knowledge of patient assistance and care procedures Patient Care Technician certification required BLS required Skills: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Effective interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to adapt to multiple changing priorities Ability to provide care that is respectful of and responsive to the patient values in clinical decision making Enable Skills-Based Hiring No Additional Details Shift : 12 HR Day Shift
