Core Java Developer

Job Description: Our client, a global Fintech company based in New York City, is seeking a full-time and remote Core Java Developer to join their team and be an active contributor in building a trading platform. Candidates must be able to work for any company without a visas transfer. No agencies! The Core Java Developer will play an integral role in the growth, maintenance and support of real-time foreign exchange trading applications. Responsibilities will include the implementation of new features to match specifications, implementation of unit tests, issue troubleshooting and resolution, and identifying performance bottlenecks. Requirements: 3+ years of working experience Exceptional core Java skills as a backend developer without reliance on frameworks. This primarily involves deep understanding of Java specifics of collections, multithreading concurrency, memory utilization, and performance. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, or significant relevant work as a computer programmer Nice to have: Experience developing front-office trading technology for processing market data, submitting orders, and handling executions. Experience developing multi-threaded real-time systems with low latency measured in microseconds. Experience with any of: JUnit, FIX, Protobufs, React, Typescript, PostgreSQL, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA, IntelliJ.
