(R)(CT)(N) (ARRT) San Francisco, CA | Outpatient Primary Care Clinic Lead and Mentor in Nuclear Medicine: Senior Technologist Opportunity in San Francisco Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist for our client, a large primary care practice in San Francisco, CA. This well-established practice offers a dynamic clinical environment where you can perform a wide range of nuclear medicine and CT procedures, while also taking on a leadership role within the team. Lead and Mentor in Nuclear Medicine at a Primary Care Clinic in San Francisco As a Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform PET/CT exams, provide lead support, mentor technologists, and maintain high patient care standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine clinical PET/CT exams, including specialty exams such as: PET/CT with Multiphase CT Pediatric Cardiac Neuro Research Provide lead/coordinator support for the team and demonstrate competency in all areas of nuclear medicine and CT. Mentor and train newer nuclear medicine technologists on routine and specialty exams. Rotate through locations and shifts, with weekend and holiday coverage as required. Maintain a high standard of patient care and safety. Required Qualifications: California State License - Certified Technologist in Nuclear Medicine (CA Department of Public Health). Post-primary certification in ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) or NMTCB (CT). BLS Certification. Graduated from JRCNMT accredited Nuclear Medicine Training Program. Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. At least 3 years of experience in CT. Flexibility to rotate locations, shifts, and provide coverage for weekends and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in leadership or coordinator roles within a nuclear medicine team. Ability to independently perform a wide variety of specialty PET/CT exams. Proven experience in providing mentorship to less experienced technologists. Practice Information: Well-established primary care practice in San Francisco. Offers comprehensive primary care services for both adults and children.
