Pay Clerk/ComplianceReports to: Terminal ManagerStatus: Non-Exempt.POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for: Driver payDeductions from driver pay (keeping accurate records of such)Logs & Driver ComplianceKeeping drivers files up to dateCollecting money on back haulsEnsuring all paperwork for trips are turned in (includes fuel tax sheets, logs, etc)KEY PERFORMANCE FACTORS Safety and Compliance Maintain current knowledge of industry specific certification, compliance and regulatory requirementsKnowledge of Canadian DOT regulations where applicable Education and Experience 2-4 years of experience transportation beneficial Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of transportation industry and regulationsAnalytical abilityCritical thinking for independent decisions and problem solvingBasic math computational skillsWritten, verbal and interpersonal communicationPlanning, organizing and time managementWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and transportation softwareCustomer service acumen Physical Demands               None Work Environment               Office environment               Minimal outside travel This job description is not intended to describe in detail all the tasks that may be assigned but rather to provide a general sense of the responsibilities and expectations of the position.
