Schedule Night shift; 3x12 hours. Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees while actively contributing to patient safety and quality outcomes. ResponsibilitiesPerform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission. Identify teaching needs and goals in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in the medical record. Participate in the patient rehabilitation program, providing direct care based on identified health needs. Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission. Communicate changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care and patient safety. Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel. Ensure personal and environmental safety in accordance with nursing policies and procedures. Assume charge responsibilities as requested following orientation. Engage in professional development through continuing education and self-study. Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureBLS Certification required prior to first shift. Minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience is highly desired. ACLS certification required prior to first shift (specific to certain locations). Why ARMStaffing?
