Contract Registered Nurse - Home Health Field

Job Description Position: Registered Nurse - Home Health Field RN for Home Visits Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (Monday to Friday) Job Duties: Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care. Assess patient learning needs and implement customized teaching strategies for patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Communicate effectively, delegate responsibilities, and manage nursing team resources efficiently, acting as a leader within the interdisciplinary team. Leverage data and information to promote positive change and achieve optimal patient outcomes. Foster an environment that enhances customer satisfaction and boosts employee morale, contributing to the nursing profession's advancement. Adapt communication and interaction styles to meet the needs of diverse patient populations, demonstrating respect for their privacy. Perform additional related duties as needed. Physical and Environmental Demands: This position requires physical exertion, including lifting and moving weight according to specific needs. Requirements: Current RN license in the state of practice or Compact License. Minimum of 1 year experience as an RN, preferably in Home Health. Ability to accept local or travel assignments. Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance. Experience with HCHB EMR is highly preferred. Education: Required: Registered Nurse (RN) degree. Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing. Certifications: Current RN license for the state of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Proficient in computers and software applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and professional information presentation. Excellent interpersonal skills. Effective organizational and time management abilities. Capacity to demonstrate sound judgement.
