Physician - Hematology Oncology Des Moines

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is looking for multiple Locum-To-Perm Hem-Onc Physicians to fill their FULL TIME need! NOTE: Full Time coverage Monday-Friday each week THIS JOB SHOULD NOT BE POSTED ON EXTERNAL JOB SITES (ie. Indeed, Zip Recruiter, etc.) Schedule: MercyOne employed Hospitalists will be the primary providers on the Oncology floor. The locum providers will be responsible for consults and any emergency issues that might arise. Patient Contact Hours: 6 Clinic days: 5 Clinic Hours: 8-5 Procedure/OR days: 0 On Call: Dependent on Locums/Part Time Providers Number Medical Hematology/Oncology coverage for 2 OP at secondary clinics (no transplants), and 3 OP days per week at primary clinic. IP coverage of both sites; APP will cover for provider. (radiation and surgical oncology management provided by existing providers with strong relationships) Clinic Provider daily volume: 10-30 Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: 10-15 MercyOne Primary, 5-8 MercyOne Secondary Appointment Length: 20 mins.
