Description: This is to bring William Donaldson and Fahad Khalil on board from Kronos Consulting. They have been interviewed and ready to be on boarded As a Principal Systems Safety Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our systems. You will be responsible for developing and implementing safety strategies, conducting hazard analyses, and providing guidance on safety regulations and standards. Your expertise and attention to detail will be instrumental in maintaining the highest level of safety for our products and solutions. Our complex system Epic is an integrated avionics platform for our Gulfstream customer. Epic consists of heads-up displays, touch screen controllers, flight management system, navigation system, communication systems, etc. Our Gulfstream systems team drives solutions that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency across all Gulfstream programs. You will report directly to our Engineering Director for Gulfstream integrated avionics system, and you'll work out of our Deer Valley, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the safety and reliability of our systems, ensuring that they meet the highest industry standards and regulations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement safety strategies for our systems Conduct hazard analyses and risk assessments Provide guidance on safety regulations and standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety requirements are met Participate in safety reviews and audits Development and analysis of fault trees YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems safety engineering Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams WE VALUE Master's degree in Engineering or a related field Enable Skills-Based Hiring No Requirement for US Export Control Position Additional Details Will this position ever require Honeywell site access? : Yes Requirement for US Export Control Position : Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
