Job Description: As a Senior Consultant in Cybersecurity, you will assist organizations in managing a dynamic threat landscape and a complex regulatory environment by delivering valuable cybersecurity and risk solutions. You will collaborate with clients across various industries to assess cybersecurity posture, create security programs, evaluate IT controls, and implement transformative strategies, including responsible integration of artificial intelligence into security initiatives. This role is ideal for professionals who excel in fast-paced consulting settings, enjoy tackling complex challenges, and are dedicated to delivering results that safeguard and enhance business success. Key Responsibilities: Lead or support cybersecurity risk assessments, IT internal audits, and regulatory compliance efforts (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, CMMC). Evaluate and test IT controls, application controls, security configurations, and interface/integration security. Provide strategic guidance on security architecture, identity and access management (IAM), data protection, and cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Advise on emerging technologies, focusing on the responsible and secure implementation of AI/ML in business processes. Conduct assessments to enhance business resiliency and incident response readiness. Help clients align their cybersecurity programs with leading compliance frameworks (NIST CSF, NIST 800.53, CIS, etc.). Present findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders, including C-suite and board-level leadership, in clear and concise written and verbal formats. Act as a strategic advisor to client security and risk functions, facilitating the development and operationalization of cybersecurity programs across governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) and business resiliency. Collaborate with client teams to lead or support program execution activities, including control implementation and continuous improvement initiatives. Mentor and guide junior consultants; contribute to team development and knowledge sharing. Engage in practice development through innovation and thought leadership. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT audit, risk advisory, or related consulting roles. Progress toward or possession of relevant certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or similar. Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, Linux/Unix) and databases (SQL, Oracle). Familiarity with regulatory compliance and cybersecurity frameworks. Strong project management, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and technical writing skills adept at engaging both technical and executive audiences. Experience or interest in AI and automation tools in cybersecurity, including secure implementation practices and risk evaluations. At Crowe, we value Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship.
