Senior Advanced Manufacturing/Production Operator (Secret Clearance) Location: Canonsburg, Pennsylvania Type: Contract Job #87117 Our DOD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Sr. Advanced Manufacturing/Production Operator position that just opened in Canonsburg, PA. In this role you'll perform moderately complex manufacturing, fabrication, and inspection tasks on electronic and mechanical assemblies. To be considered, you must have a High School Diploma plus 6 years of relevant experience. Must have an active Secret Security Clearance at the time of hire. Role Summary The Senior Advanced Manufacturing / Production Operator performs moderately complex manufacturing, fabrication, and inspection tasks on electronic and mechanical assemblies. This role supports prototype development, production builds, and large, complex defense systems requiring precision, quality, and compliance with stringent DoD standards. Required Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 6 years of relevant manufacturing or production experience AA degree or manufacturing related certification preferred U.S. Citizenship required Security Clearance Requirements Active DoD Secret clearance is required at time of hire Candidates will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information Work Location Requirement This position is 100% onsite in Canonsburg, PA Key Responsibilities Perform repetitive and non repetitive assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including: Modules, circuit boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables Perform fabrication and inspection functions in research, production, and pre production environments Build and integrate hardware for: Prototypes Assemblies Large, complex systems Build RF and multi function cables and harnesses Perform soldering of ribbons and strip line components to meet RF performance requirements Support quality focused manufacturing by prioritizing precision and compliance over quantity Required Knowledge and Skills Ability to perform advanced loading and configuration of customer or standard software on devices Advanced fabrication and marking capabilities Strong communication and computer skills Solid understanding of statistics and Statistical Process Control (SPC) applications What Sets You Apart Creative problem solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks Commitment to continuous learning and professional development Team oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in collaborative environments Strong attention to detail when supporting high reliability and mission critical systems What You'll Experience Work on technologies that are often classified and mission?critical Collaboration with skilled engineers, technicians, and manufacturing teams Exposure to cutting edge defense and national security programs Opportunities to expand technical expertise as new technologies are introduced Workplace Options 100% Onsite position Location: Canonsburg, PA About our client: Our client is a mission critical DOD - Aerospace defense contractor developing solutions that will lead, serve, and protect our country.
