Jr. Operational Intelligence Engineer Greenwood Village, CO 80111 Hybrid role $30 per hour Long-term ongoing contract with potential for conversion ABOUT THE ROLE Our client is expanding its Operational Intelligence team to accelerate the development of an agentic AI-driven Network Operations platform. This platform will continuously monitor the network, automatically detect anomalies, and leverage machine learning to diagnose root causes and generate recommended fixes-advancing the vision of intelligent, self-healing network operations. The Operational Intelligence team ingests, correlates, and analyzes real-time network telemetry, builds monitoring pipelines, investigates live network degradations, and drives automation for autonomous network recovery. As a Junior Operational Intelligence Engineer, you will join a collaborative team of 40 engineers and architects, supporting the real-world deployment of agentic AI solutions that strengthen the reliability, performance, and autonomy of the network. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about analytics, troubleshooting, and working with data to uncover patterns and insights. WHAT YOU'LL DO Support the ingestion and processing of high-volume telemetry streams across the network footprint Assist in debugging real-time issues across distributed components and systems Participate in root-cause investigations alongside senior engineers to resolve network degradations Support the development and maintenance of automation workflows for issue detection and remediation Learn and eventually participate in on-call rotations (after approximately 6 months) Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides Complete Elevate training as part of onboarding and ongoing professional development WHAT YOU BRING Degree in Computer Science or equivalent Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems Problem-solving mindset and strong troubleshooting instincts Basic scripting skills in Python or Go Strong communication and collaboration skills Exposure to cloud platforms (ideally AWS) Exposure to telemetry systems such as Apache NiFi, Kafka, or Fluentd Passion for analytics and working with data to uncover patterns and insights WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU Opportunity to work with a large, collaborative team of engineers and architects Hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI-driven network operations technology Professional development through Elevate training and mentorship from senior engineers Potential for contract-to-hire conversion Hybrid work environment INTERVIEW PROCESS Technical interview with several engineers from the team Cultural interview with the Senior Director Disclaimer: Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire are part of the Eight Eleven Group family of companies and operate under Eight Eleven Group, LLC.
