In This Role, You Will: Carry out detailed patient evaluations, order essential diagnostic tests, and create personalized treatment plans. Diagnose and handle acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses in concert with physicians or autonomously, depending on your credentialing. Guide patients and their families through prevention, wellness, and effective disease management. Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies as per your practice guidelines. Engage in patient follow-ups and chronic care management. Work cooperatively with interdisciplinary teams to provide seamless, holistic patient care. Maintain precise and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR). Credentials Needed Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Essential Certifications Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Georgia. National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a relevant specialty. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to achieve these within 90 days).
