Light Weight Assembler

Spherion Staffing is looking for light weight assemblers in Lebanon, IN! This job includes assembling wire harnesses for forklifts - LIGHT work, some stations seated (but cannot choose which station you will be working at, so must be okay with standing as well) You will be eligible for raises once you transition into full time employee!!!! Quiet, Clean environment, relaxed dress code Operates hand and power tools for mechanical, hydraulic and/or electronic assembly. Receives required parts and follows step by step diagrams and/or work instructions in order to assemble and/or reassemble low mix/high volume sub-assembly components. Visually inspects own work prior to the next operation. Make adjustments as necessary. Uses computers to ensure inventories of required supplies are kept at appropriate levels. Notifies supervisor of shortages. Stacks and/or moves work following material handling and safety procedures. May use overhead cranes/hoists and lift trucks to move heavy materials. Supports the Company's 5S program in an effort to maintain work area, equipment and supplies in a neat, organized manner. May be required to teardown, clean, repair, rebuild, and reassemble previously built assemblies. Performs related work as assigned Shift and Pay MON-THURS 6A-3 30Pm and FRI 6Am-10Am $17.7/hr 40hr a week + overtime if available. Responsibilities: Assemble components and products accurately and efficiently. Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications. Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Working hours: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM Skills: Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred but not required. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic math and measurement skills. Ability to stand for long periods. Education: No Degree Required Experience: 1-4 years Qualifications: Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred but not required. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
